A Shadow Cat Back-Facing Plush Cushion — Faceless Back-View Design, Round Arched Back, Curled Tail, Ultra-Soft Dense Plush Coat, in 3 Solid Colours: Black, White & Grey, 33cm

Key Features

• Back-facing faceless cat design — the piece is designed entirely from the back view of a sitting cat: a rounded arched back, two small upright ears at the top, and a small curled tail to one side; there is no front face, eyes, or nose; the faceless back-view silhouette is the defining concept of this piece and gives it its distinctive shadow cat aesthetic and immediate visual recognisability
• Small curled tail detail — a small, softly curled plush tail extends from the lower rear of the body; the tail is proportionally small and sits naturally to one side; it is one of the most charming details of the piece and is immediately visible when the cushion is placed on any flat surface
• Ultra-soft dense plush coat — the entire outer surface is covered in a short, dense, cloud-like plush pile; the pile is exceptionally soft and smooth to the touch with a consistent close texture across the rounded back surface; the dense, even pile gives the piece a clean, minimal appearance that emphasises the silhouette shape rather than surface detail
• 3 solid colours: Black, White & Grey — each colour is a clean, solid single tone with no markings or pattern; the three colours cover the most iconic and widely recognised solid domestic cat coat colours; all three integrate naturally into neutral, minimal, and monochrome interior settings
• Compact cushion format — at 33cm, the piece functions as a compact sofa accent cushion, a chair back cushion, a desk companion, or a shelf display object; the flat, low-profile body sits stably on any flat surface without requiring a stand or support
• PP cotton fill; CE certified; free of high-concern chemicals; suitable for ages 3+

Colour Guide

3 solid colours available — all three are clean single-tone coats with no markings or pattern. Choose the colour that best matches your interior setting or your own cat’s coat.

Designed For

• Cat owners and cat lovers; the back-facing silhouette is immediately recognisable as a cat resting with its back turned — a universally familiar and endearing cat behaviour; owners of black, white, or grey cats will find a colour option that matches their own cat
• Minimal and neutral interior decoration; the solid single-tone coat, clean rounded silhouette, and three neutral colour options make this piece easy to integrate into any modern, minimal, or Japandi-style interior setting
• Sofa, chair, and shelf display; the compact 33cm format fits on a single sofa cushion, a chair back, a shelf, or a console table without taking up significant space; the flat body sits stably on any surface
• Gift giving for cat lovers; the distinctive back-facing shadow cat concept, the three colour options, and the CE certification from age 3+ make this a broadly appealing gift across a wide range of recipient ages and interior styles

FAQ

Q: Does this have a face on the front?
A: No — the piece is designed entirely from the back view of a sitting cat. There is no front face, eyes, or nose on any surface of the cushion. The faceless back-view silhouette is the core design concept of this piece.

Q: Does the tail stick out or is it flat?
A: The tail is a small, softly stuffed plush tail that extends from the lower rear of the body and curls slightly to one side. It protrudes slightly from the body profile and is visible from above and from the side when the cushion is placed on a flat surface.

Q: Are the three colours exactly the same shape and size?
A: Yes — all three colours (Black, White, Grey) share the same 33cm back-facing cat silhouette shape, the same short dense plush coat, the same curled tail, and the same PP cotton fill. The only difference between them is the coat colour.

Q: Is this machine washable?
A: Spot cleaning is recommended to maintain the short dense plush surface and the shape of the curled tail. If machine washing is needed, use a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag at low temperature and air dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
